Part of HGH\u2019s SPYNEL range of panoramic thermal surveillance systems, the SPYNEL-F combines high imaging quality with a compact design, making it suitable for demanding security and defense applications.<\/p>\n

This acquisition marks the second phase of an experimentation program. HGH is working hand in hand in particular with the French Maritime Gendarmerie to test this innovation under a wide range of conditions, situations and applications, in order to validate the operational concept ahead of a potential larger-scale use[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=\u00a0\u00bb1\/4″][vc_single_image media=\u00a0\u00bb178117″ media_width_percent=\u00a0\u00bb100″ uncode_shortcode_id=\u00a0\u00bb147008″][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=\u00a0\u00bb120983″ el_class=\u00a0\u00bbjustify\u00a0\u00bb]The SPYNEL-F combines panoramic imaging, a 30 Hz video frame rate and integrated digital stabilization to deliver high-quality thermal images in a compact format. Its lightweight design allows integration on vessels of different sizes.<\/p>\n

The three systems will be tested in several operational applications including search and rescue (SAR), with a deployment across large and smaller vessels of the French Navy. SPYNEL-F\u2019s combination of panoramic imaging, high-quality images and compact design will be assessed against these diverse operational requirements.<\/p>\n

The order follows successful trials conducted by the French Maritime Gendarmerie in January 2026 to assess SPYNEL-F\u2019s performance and suitability for operational use. These trials enabled HGH to secure the PERSEUS label* for SPYNEL-F.<\/p>\n
