Blackbodies designed for production line integration

In the IR detector and core production process, final tests using a calibrated blackbody surface are essential to validate sensor performance before release.

The blackbodies are directly integrated into the production line, automatically moving toward the detector. Thanks to HGH blackbodies such as PCN, TwiN1000 and DCN1000, critical parameters of IR sensors can be then measured :

  • Bad pixels location
  • Non uniformity correction
  • Linearity and dynamic range measurement

Easy integration

The compact structure of the blackbody heads allows an easy integration in production lines, whatever the orientation of the emissive surface. They also enable the widest range of environment temperature on the market and they are even able to withstand climatic chamber operation.

With one controller driving the temperatures of 2 emissive surfaces independently, the integration of the electronics is also made easy.

Software Development Kit (SDK) is also available for fast and easy integration into the control command system of the production line to automatically drive the blackbody temperatures.
