Company History
HGH was founded in France in 1982 by infrared technology experts René Houis, Gilbert Gaussorgues, and François Hubert.
Initially, HGH focused on feasibility studies and prototype development for Defense, Space, and Nuclear sectors, becoming a trusted partner to French defense labs for custom test benches and optronic systems, as well as the manufacturing of thermographic cameras.
In 2001, the company was acquired by its sales director, Thierry Campos, who shifted the strategy toward ready-to-use advanced products at a global scale. Three key markets emerged:
- Defense and Civil Security (Wide Area Surveillance)
- Industrial Thermography
- Optronic Test & Metrology Equipment (Electro-Optical Test)
In 2021, Vincent Leboucher was appointed President with a primary focus on innovation and customer satisfaction. Under his leadership, the company expanded internationally and strengthened its brand image. His vision has driven sustainable growth and enhanced the company’s global market presence.
