HGH introduces innovative surveillance technologies for Homeland security and Defense at IDEX 2023

February 19th 2023, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – HGH is pleased to announce its participation in IDEX 2023, the International Defence Exhibition and Conference, which will take place from February 19-23 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The group will reveal state-of-the-art SPYNEL thermal imager and CYCLOPE AI software for homeland security applications.

In an ever-changing global landscape, homeland security continues to be a top priority for governments around the world. With new threats emerging, including a growing number of weapons of mass destruction, terrorist attacks involving unmanned aircraft systems (UAVs) and cross-border crime, the importance of safeguarding citizens and infrastructure is key.

“Homeland Security and Defense departments are continually evolving their capabilities to address these challenges. They are in search of advanced technologies based on artificial intelligence.” said Edouard Campana, Head of Wide Area Surveillance technologies. “We offer them a passive surveillance solution for mobile or permanent applications, capable of accurately detecting, classifying and tracking any threat day and night over 360°, thanks to an artificial intelligence algorithm.”

SPYNEL and its CYCLOPE Software is a unique panoramic thermal imaging solution providing 360-degree surveillance coverage 24/7 over very long distances. Fullly passive and undetectable, it can detect, track and classify the smallest targets. People, vehicles, small boats and even drones are automatically classified by the GAIA AI module integrated into CYCLOPE Software.

HGH will be exhibiting on Etimad‘s booth 04-C10 at IDEX, the premier defense exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa region, attracting more than 100,000 visitors from the defense and security industry.
